СВЕТИ САВА – ШКОЛСКА СЛАВА

Свети Сава (Растко Немањић), рођен је око 1175. Године, а умро 27. јануара 1236. године у Трнову. Млади принц, је за живота, прешао пут од светогорског монаха до првог архиепископа аутокефалне Српске архиепископије. Био је дипломата, ходочасник, законодавац, књижавник, просветитељ и први српски учитељ.

Рад Светог Саве на просвећивању српског народа започео је његовим доласком из Свете Горе у Србију и преношењем моштију Светог Симеона у манастир Студеницу. Од тада манастир Студеница постаје центар српског црквеног и просветног живота.

По имену Светог Саве назване су многе школе и институције у Србији, али и другим земљама где живи српски народ.

Празник Свети Сава – Савиндан је установљен као школска слава 1840. године, али је од Другог светског рата, обележавање школске славе  било прекинуто. Поновну прилику да се у школама слави први српски учитељ и просветитељ, добили смо 1990. године и од тада на велику радост ученика и наставника Срби достојанствено и свечано обележавају своју школску славу.

Ученици и запослени су ове школске године и за овај дан испоштовали препоруке надлежних. Претходних дана се често спомињало име Светог Саве кроз различите активности. Дискутовало се о лику и делу нашег светитеља, а ликовни и литерарни радови красе учионице и ходнике обе школске зграде. Изостала је приредба – свечана академија, коју су традиционално запослени припремали са ученицима, а гости заједно са нама уживали у плодовима дечијег рада. Због тренутне епидемиолошке ситуације, организовано је да сваки ученик који је желео да пева или рецитује о Светом Сави учини то преко гугл учионице. Такође неизоставни део славе је и ломљене славског колача, које је спроведено у присуству свештеника, вероучитеља и дела запослених уз поштовање свих епидемиолошких мера.
